Money Healing Club Community Safety & Inclusion Guidelines
You've joined a community where financial healing happens through connection, learning, creativity, and compassion. These guidelines create a container where breakthrough moments and learning can flourish while maintaining clear boundaries.
As you read through these guidelines, remember: we're not here to police your behavior but to co-create a space where everyone can experience financial healing. Your voice matters here, and these guidelines help ensure everyone's voice can be heard. We welcome feedback on this form (with anonymous option).
Our Core Values
💖 Compassion: We acknowledge the complex emotions around money and meet each other with kindness.
🌿 Non-Judgment: We recognize everyone's financial journey is unique and shaped by different circumstances.
✨ Learning: We remain curious and open to new perspectives on our financial lives.
🔄 Activism: We recognize that financial systems are flawed and healing includes working toward more equitable systems.
What You Can Expect From Us

We're committed to hearing and holding your struggles and celebrating your breakthroughs, whether they're emotional insights or practical wins.

Your Promotions
Do not use the community to promote your business, products, or services. The only exception is when a moderator invites self-promotion in a post.
Do not solicit other members for business opportunities.
You are welcome to describe your business, products or services in your profile.
If you have a resource that might benefit the community, please share it in the Circle of Support Space (and make sure your offer aligns with that space’s guidelines).
Mental Health Issues
The Money Healing Club provides financial therapy, not clinical mental health treatment.
If you're experiencing acute distress such as substance withdrawal or suicidal thoughts, please reach out to a mental health professional.
If you need referrals, the moderation team can provide resources. Our go-tos are https://openpathcollective.org + https://www.psychologytoday.com
We cannot support crisis intervention within the community. Please call 9-8-8 if experiencing a mental health crisis.
If we observe or receive reports of a mental health crisis, we will contact the member with referrals/resources and pause their membership until they are stable and they request to re-join
Live Event Guidelines
Our live online gatherings are where most of our collective healing happens. To make these times comfortable and fair, we have the following event guidelines:
Educational nature - These sessions are educational and do not replace mental health care or financial, legal, or tax advising.
Privacy - We keep what’s shared here private to the group. If you are bringing a guest, please introduce them so we all know who’s on the call.
Cameras optional - Feel free to turn your camera on or off based on your comfort level.
Self-care is priority - If you feel distressed, do what you need: turn off video, step away, or leave and return when ready.
We're recording - (except for Money Dates and Open Coaching) Recordings are for members who couldn't attend live, not for external sharing.
Focused sharing welcome - We encourage honesty while staying centered on money from an emotional perspective. Engage at the level your nervous system allows for today.
Respectful participation - Please stay muted when not speaking, use the raise hand feature to share, and keep comments brief so everyone has a voice. Lean into the Chat.
Curiosity encouraged – We each bring unique lived experiences to this space. We invite you to listen actively, seek to understand differences, and approach others' stories with openness and respect.
Artistic expression - During art sessions, be gentle with yourself—there's no right or wrong way to create; digital process welcome.
Emotional awareness - Working with money and images can evoke strong feelings; arrange comforts and processing time for yourself during and after the event.
Let us know - If there’s anything you’d like to discuss with the MHC privately, you may DM us or use the feedback form.

When Things Get Difficult
Conflict Resolution
If conflict arises within the community:
Take a pause before responding.
Consider if direct communication would help resolve the issue.
If not, or if direct communication doesn't resolve it, contact a moderator.
Moderators will facilitate conversation or intervene as needed.
All parties will be given an equitable opportunity to share their perspective.
Moderator Accountability
Our moderators are human too. If you feel a moderator's bias has affected you:
You can reach out to Rachel directly at howdy@moneyhealingclub.com.
You can fill out this anonymous feedback form.
Your concern will be taken seriously and addressed promptly.
We commit to ongoing learning about our own biases and blind spots.
Guideline Violations
If these guidelines are not upheld:
First occurrence of mild misconduct: a reminder about the specific guideline breach will be sent via direct message and email.
Second occurrence of mild misconduct: Direct conversation with a moderator and temporary restriction from posting.
Repeated violation or first severe violation: Immediate removal from the community
We reserve the right to adjust our responses to misconduct depending on the context in order to protect the community.
Our goal is always education and growth, not punishment.
Emergency Protocol
If you or someone else in the community appears to be in crisis on a live call or as evidenced in the forums:
The moderation team will reach out privately (note: we do not collect phone numbers or addresses, so our outreach is limited to email)
We'll provide crisis resource information
We may temporarily pause community engagement if it seems harmful
We'll follow up appropriately while respecting privacy
