🎤the podcast I started after deleting Instagram

A few days ago, I shared how one year ago I deleted all the social media apps from my phone. 📱

Look — I still have accounts. I check them on my computer when I need to for work.

But that one small boundary made room for many things that are bigger and better for me:

→ More reading. 📚
→ More talking to friends. 💬
→ More making weird art projects with my kids. 🎨👧

The month I removed IG from my phone, I started the Money Healing Club Podcast.

Bam. 💥

So it felt full-circle to interview the woman who inspired that shift, on the very podcast that was born from it.

This week's episode features Amelia Hruby, author of Your Attention Is Sacred (Except on Social Media) and one of the most thoughtful, tender critics of the attention economy out there. 🌸

If you don't already know Amelia (or her podcast Off the Grid) — please carve out some time for grounded, real, heartfelt conversations about life off social media, especially for entrepreneurs.

In this episode, we talk about:

🌱 Why social media makes us want things we didn't care about five minutes ago
🌱 How your feed knows exactly when you're vulnerable — and how to sell to that feeling
🌱 What actually happens when you leave social (spoiler: not “instant peace”)
🌱 Five garden-based practices for tending your attention like it matters

And yes — we absolutely talk about the financial piece:

If you've ever impulse-bought mid-scroll, or felt behind even when you're doing everything “right” — this one's for you. ✨

And to really sink into the topic, I can't recommend Amelia's new book enough:
Your Attention Is Sacred (Except on Social Media).
