“I'll do better next month.”
Before Sarah found her way into money healing, she had a system:
Keep the mask on. Look like she had it together. And quietly… avoid. 🎭
She told herself she'd get it together next month. That she just needed one more good weekend — to focus, organize, really try. That the new course, or the crystals, or the budget app might finally click. That being a little harder on herself might work this time. 🔮
And in the meantime? She poured her energy into being a good citizen. Buying local. Donating to causes. Keeping up with the world's pain. 💔
But no matter what she gave — her time, her attention, her good intentions — it never felt like enough.
And money? Money kept slipping through her fingers.
There were moments she felt physically high after a Target run. Moments she hid those new throw pillows in the closet because the shame spiral hit fast. 😔 Nights she googled “how to get better with money” and ended up on some blog telling her to stop buying lattes and manifest more. ✨
She didn't want a spreadsheet. She wanted relief. 😮💨
But every path forward looked like restriction. Like eating bland food. Like becoming someone else entirely — someone who's “good with money.”
So the plan stayed the same: do better later. 🔁
Until one day, early in our work together, Sarah drove past Target again.
She thought about running in to grab shampoo — a “quick errand.” But she paused. Not just her car. Herself.✋
“I know if I go in, I'll probably walk out with a hundred dollars of stuff I didn't need. I'm hungry. I'm stressed. And what I really want is a win today.”
So she went home. Made herself a good snack. Opened her journal. ❤️
It wasn't about the shampoo. It never is.
If you've ever caught yourself waiting for Future You to show up with infinite willpower… you're not alone. 🤝
But you might not need willpower at all. ✨
What you might need is expert support. Somewhere safe to look underneath the impulse. Someone that sees your full, brilliant, creative self — not just your receipts. 🌟
That's what I'm doing inside the new Individual Money Healing Intensive. And if Sarah's story feels a little familiar… maybe it's time for a different kind of money plan. 💫
When you're ready, I'd love to hold that space with you.
P.S. When you think about the way you spend (or avoid) money… what do you think you're really craving? Just comment below, I'd love to hear.
